Le cose piΓΉ importanti: il Vangelo, gelato, pizza

Yo yo yo welcome backkkkkkkkk everybody!! Happy pday and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! We're so close people. I hope you have gotten all your Christmas shopping done and bought your Christmas Jammys.

Alrighty, myth busted ONCE AGAIN!!! ✅️ We have a new awesome friend and she is one of the ELECT!!! I seriously didnt think that was a real thing, but it is!!! MIRACOLI OVUNQUE!!!! We found this cute girl through FACEBOOK!! And she's NORMAL!! That does not happen every day people. She started coming to our free english course and one day had a gospel question for us. We set up a follow up lesson with her and let me tell you brothers and sisters of zion this was the most spirit led mind blowing lesson I've ever experienced. We taught her how to pray and how to really pray and talk with her Heavenly father. We helped her to find answers for herself through the book of mormon. She told us lots of things that just brought the spirit so powerfully into the lesson. But the crowning event was when we invited her to pray by herself. It took her a little while to adjust but then she started with a  "caro padre celeste" and began to just pour her heart out to God. It reminded me how special a simple prayer is. We all were brought to tears from the spirit felt after her prayer. Pray for my queen Ilaria that she can continue to read The book of mormon to find answers to her questions πŸ™ πŸ«ΆπŸ» #ourgodisanawesomegod

Another miracle. I found my pickle grabber!!! I was going through a period of sadness because i thought I lost it, but now i can use it to grab my pickels and balls of yummy mozzarella!! #ilovepickles

Nothing really too goofy happened this week except that Sorella andersen and I started talking in thick country accents to our whole English course and they started to pee their pants laughing. They couldn't understand a thing we were saying and repeatedly asked us to do the southern accent over and over again. Highlight of my life. #ifyouwanttomakeanitalianlaughtalkinasouthernaccent

Pictures:
- my frog shrine has grown
- our english course singing at the ward party
- the most beautiful sunset if ever seen in my life
- the mountain behind me is mt vesuvius (i literally don't know how to spell it)
It's the volcano that erupted causing pompeii. Just casually out my balcony window. Life isn't real.

I'm an island girl πŸ’… 🏝

GOODMORNING USA. oh how I miss america. Makes me want a hot dog real bad.

Once again i have been lazy and not emailed for sometime. You guys have lots to catch up on so buckle up.

I got transfered. It hit me a lot harder than i thought it was going to. As I spent almost 4 months is Caserta i thought I was ready to leave and go see the world, but then transfer calls came around and i was unwell. I have grown to love these people so much. It was like having to say goodbye to my family all over again. #thatsucked I have been blessed to come to know these people truly as Gods children. The love i have for them is unexplainable. Thursday night came around to our english course. I had the opportunity to bear my testimony for the spiritual thought. As people came to me after and talked about the time I had spent with them tears were flowing and hugs were being given left and right. I will forever be grateful for the people of Caserta that changed my life. It feels like a little piece of my heart has been ripped out. And to make matters worse I had to say bye to my companion. Sorella Andersen truly has become one of my best friends and I will never forget the example she was for me and the things i have learned from her. The Lord knew we would be best friends so he decided to let us live 30 minutes away from each other at home. We will be going to filabertos together when I get home. I love you freddawg. #ariserta4ever

I have now been transfered to the beautiful island of Sardegna. Yup. That's right. Im an island girl. It is an actual fact that there are more sheep than people on this island. #letsgosheepfinding
On Friday morning i hopped on a plane and flew to the cute little city of Cagliari. I was terrified. But alas God is a God of miracles and he has slowly but surely answered everything single one of my prayers. My new comp is from France and i just absolutely love her. I have a literal 6 pack because of how much laughing I've been doing. I think im gonna give up the whole workout thing and just stick to the laughing. it seems to be working great.

The people of Sardegna are just angels and I am just beyond grateful for everything i have been blessed with. We have seen so many miracles just in the last 3 days here. We even put our friend stefania on bapt date!! Pray for stefania that she can pray to know that this is the best decision to make to help her come closer to her Savior Jesus Christ.

I had my first not Campania pizza. πŸ€’🀒 FORZA CAMPANIA. The pizza here is crunchy. Pizza should not be crunchy. I definitely miss walking 4 min from my house and paying €4 for the best pizza ive ever had in my life. God gives us our trials. This will have to be mine. πŸ˜”

I finally made a shared photos album. If you want to see some sick flicks, click on the link!!

Il clacson

Woah. Hey there! Not much new stuff going on around here. So let me just give you a little update!!

Thursday we walked around with book of mormons in gift bags!! We brought them to our "neighbors" and we ended up finding a super sweet lady who just lost her son. She really needs some light in her life so we are going back to visit our queen!!

Sunday we had 2 very interesting member meals. The most unfortunate thing about being on an island is that they eat TONS of seafood. I LOTHE seafood. I Have eaten so many foods I would have never even touched in these last couple weeks. Let's just say the gift of tongues has a different meaning to me now. #godisagodofmiracles

English course was so fun!! We have 3 classes and in our class we teach about 30 students every week! We get to share a little spiritual thought after and this week we talked about why we chose to serve a mission. The spirit was so powerful in our lesson and we had tons of students come after class and ask us more questions!!

Ok now for my favorite part of the week!! I read one of my cute friends emails and she talked about holding a sign up on the side of the road that says free book of mormon. I've gotten tired of doing the same old street contacting and door knocking, so i whipped out my whiteboard AND HEADED FOR THE STREETS!!!! I wrote on there IL LIBRO DI MORMON GRATUITO!! SUONA IL CLACSON!! I was running through streets, pointing at cars, having the time of my life. We ended up handing out 5 book of mormons in 45 minutes. These people would literally drive back around and ask us questions about the book. Even if they didn't want a book of mormon it was still fun to see the smile on their faces watching two stupid American girls running around with a whiteboard in the middle of centro. I had so much fun. #wemayormaynotbesellingthegospel

Pday was a girl's day and we went to the cutest little restaurant on the beach. WE SAT ON LITERAL SWING TABLE ON THE BEACH. Dreams made.
Spiritual thought: go read the living christ ITS SO GOOD

My french companion made me FRENCH fries!! Next up: French toast!!

6 MONTHS SAY WHAT?!?!?!?

Howdy yall. Come state?! I hope you're all doing good and if youre not, go get a nice warm krispy kreme donut and some chocolate milk. Guarantee you will feel better. πŸ©πŸ₯›

Another week in Sardegna and Im still alive. I am now the ward choirister and let's just say the hymns don't sound as beautiful as they used to in these days. I saw my first flamingo this week that wasn't in the zoo. πŸ¦© I honestly thought that was their only purpose. Another mythbusted. ✅️Flamingos are real animals, not just the fake ones at the zoo. We got to do weekly planning at the beach. Life changing. If you know me you know I love the water and the beach so i basically felt like I was in heaven.
We're teaching so many awesome children of god right now. Im teaching people things I never thought I'd teach. There's nothing quite like teaching 60 year old men the law of chastity πŸ˜ƒπŸ«‘🀝🏻

Coolest experience of the week!!!
One of the cute girls in our english course took us on a VIP tour of one of the oldest catholic churches in sardegna. ⛪️I have only ever been in a catholic church once in my life so this was a very eye opening experience. She had her catholic priest take us around and show us the symbolism and everything in the church. It was cool to see some similarities that our church have, but also just how far off they are πŸ˜€. Anyways, we enjoyed the tour with the priest and one of the anziani (who I swear is going to be a prophet one day) turns to him and whips out a book of mormon. He politely offers the priest this book of mormon as a gift and he excepted. And then as we left, the priest gifted that Anziano a book. It was so cool to see two people deeply rooted in both of their faiths be able to talk about their religion openly and lovingly. SO COOL πŸ€―

6 months as a missionary!!! Literally there is no way thats real. I feel like i just got out of the mtc and am still a fresh greenie on the mission. As I look back at these 6 months, I look back at the people i have been able to meet, this language I have been able to learn, and how much I have been able to change. Crazy to think i started my mission papers exactly a year ago. I will forever be thankful for my decision to serve a mission. These people have truly changed my life. Living and teaching this gospel has changed me and brings me so much joy, gratitude, and peace EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I have never felt happier in my life. Thank you to every one who helped me to get on a mission. LOVE YOU ALL!!! πŸ«ΆπŸ»πŸ«ΆπŸ»πŸ«ΆπŸ»

Here's the link to my Google photos if you want to see more of my life! πŸ˜πŸ˜

I LOVE YOU ITALIA πŸ’šπŸ€❤️

Well, I dont know how we got here. I feel like three weeks ago I was sitting in the mtc without a clue as to what I was doing. I still don...
