GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN

Zoooweeeemaammmaa! What a week! I seriously dont even know where to start! 

Monday we had transfer calls! After a 12 hour bus ride  I'm now in Taranto in the heel of Italy. Im in a trio and whoever decided trios were okay did not think about the fact that when you put three crazy girls together theyre going to have way too much fun. Its a constant party at casa nostra. 

It was sad to say goodbye to the people of Pescara. I served there for 6 months and they became family to me. I will be returning to my cute little fishing town someday. Don't you even fret.

AN APOSTLE OF THE LORD CAME TO VISIT US!! What an unforgettable experience. The whole mission had the opportunity to meet at the Rome temple with Elder Stevenson of the quorum of the 12 apostles. At the end of his instruction to us, he bore a powerful testimony. I didnt take any notes for the last 5 min of what he said because i was just captivated by the spirit. It was interesting to watch him go off script from everything he prepared then stop, listen, and act upon the impressions he received from the holy spirit. Truly a day never to be forgotten. 

A NIGHT OUT WITH THE GRANDPARENTS

My dear friend Giuseppe called me saturday night and wanted to say goodbye to me before i left. I have taught him english as well as the gospel on and off for the last six months. He's like a grandpa to me. He picked me and my companion up with his sweet sweet wife Maria and It ended up being the most magical night ever. They truly are the purest people and made me feel a little piece of home, like i was walking around town getting dinner with my grandparents. They just wouldnt stop spoiling us all night. Those people have a special place in my heart. 

I think somethings wrong because im just SO HAPPY. I absolutely LOVE being a missionary and find so much joy talking to strangers all day long.

Just here to give you guys some updates. There have been highs and lows and way too many creepy men in my life recently. 

 i met a man in downtown the other day and like any good missionary i got his facebook to invite him to come unto christ. He wrote me that day and said he wasn't interested in jesus but interested in me and he was in love with me. My self confidences 

 monday i felt giù (down). We stopped teaching all of our friends. If they weren't ready for Jesus time, we put a little pause on them. We were left with one friend. But, God never leaves me hanging and i put my faith in him. We walked out the door and BOOM stopped this lady i had felt i needed to talk to and she said shed lived by the church for 20 years and she's said hi to the missionaries every day and no one has ever invited her. She's coming to church on sunday! 

 then another BOOM right after we finished talking to her. I have this friend Giovanni that i talk to every Tuesday

but he never comes to church. Well, he offered me a fresh orange and i didnt want it, so in return i offered him a free book of mormon and a church tour. He happily entered the church and absolutely loved it. Next step: COVENANT WITH GOD. 

 beach time! We can finally go on the beach now that theres no more naked people there. Pdays are way fun because we just walk out of our house and hit the beach. We live a short walk to the beach so we walk there every morning. Gods creations are so beautiful.

YOU GUYS!!!!! I just want to bear you my testimony of the book of mormon. Its just the coolest thing ever. Its a history book guys. What person wants to sit their butt down and read a history book? (My mom does) BUT GUYS THATS NOT ALL. ITS A HISTORY BOOK OF GOD. OH MY GOODNESS I JUST LOVE IT. I always read the book of mormon with my family my whole life, but i never really had this profound testimony builder moment. I still have never had a WOW moment and thats OKAY because my fellow brothers and sisters in christ, i know that this book is true. I have felt the love of God through this book. I have come to know my savior jesus christ as a person and not as a concept. I have read the EXACT words i needed in that exact moment in this book. I have felt joy from this book. I have come to know who I am to my Savior Jesus christ and who my Savior Jesus Christ is to me in this book. I have seen peoples lives change completely because of this book. 

If you took nothing from my testimony, go read it for yourself and go get a testimony for yourself. The introduction is a great place to start. IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE. if you intently read and pray about it.
