Ciao a tutti!! AYOOOO!!!!! What is up everyone?!?!? Welcome back to the weekly email. Otherwise known as your favorite part of the week. This week in the mtc was totally tubular. Where do I even start.
Monday - Language immersion and Sorella Loughneys birthday!! I knew Sorella Loughneys birthday was coming up so Sunday night I made a master plan. I went to the vending machine and bought her a scrumptious chocolate muffin for the morning and stuck a Qtip in it as a makeshift candle. She loved it. Holy cheesecake you guys. We started language immersion and my brain is fried. The teachers only speak to us in Italian and it's not easy to understand with the literal 5 words I know in Italian.
Tuesday - Loved loved loved this day. We got to sing in the mtc choir for the devotional that night and it was AMAZING!!! We literally only practiced once all together and then we got to sing for Brent H. Nielson from the Presidency of the 70. The spirit was so strong. Brother Nielson and his wife gave the best talks. Sister Nielsons talk stood out to me the most because she talked about getting up everyday with a smile and giving it our all and the Lord will fill in the rest. The last couple days had been really rough for me, and when she said those words the spirit hit me like a truck. Why should I be sad when my Savior is walking side by side with me through every step of the way?? We had devotional with the district after and everyone shared some bomb testimonies. Love them.
Wednesday/ Thursday - I'm combining these two days because they literally consisted of the same things. 6:30 wake up bright and early and go work out with trainer Bowen (Sorella Bowen is my personal trainer and she is making me shredded in the next 4 weeks) 7:45 get ready for the day and go eat some ronchy breakfast. Guys idk how much longer I can take the mtc food. Cholula is the only thing getting me through these days. 9:15 - 11:30 absolutely grind out some insane Personal, Comp, and Language study. 1:30-4:30 Go to class and fry my brain. Eat dinner. Then more class from 6-9 and then go to bed because we are always dead tired by the end of the day.
Friday - PDAY!!!!! Today has been good so far. We woke up and worked out with trainer Bowen once again and my abs are feeling absolutely shredded. Then we went to breakfast and headed to MY FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!! The Provo Temple! We did initiatories today and the spirit I felt was something I've never felt before. Crazy thing like when you're a missionary you can like feel the spirit stronger than like youve ever felt before in your life. Who wouldve thought. Crazy concept, I know. Then we did laundry and were going to hit that mtc spike ball grind after we teach a lesson. Anziano Rueckert and I are la squadra dei sogni!! Literally no one can beat us.
Spiritual thought for the day!!
I know I've said it a lot in this email, but my testimony of the spirit has been so strengthened this week. I have never felt anything like it in my life. I cry like every day here lol. And these are such happy tears. I know that the Gospel is true and we are converted unto the Lord through il Spirito Santo.
John 14: 26-27
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
